About the MicroMerchant Gazette Widgets

Reduce drudgery & mistakes.

Selling on the internet, and on eBay, can be lots of fun. But aspects of it are pure drudgery.

To help myself as a seller, I wrote this collection of Widgets. Each day I thought "What part of this job can I simplify?" The result is this collection.

Some Widgets are free of change. Others require registration, for a modest subscription fee.

The Free Widgets can be used by buyers, with side effects that benefit you as their seller.

  • BeAPal makes it simple for buyers to give eBay store sellers the Store Referral Credit. It can be worth 75% of your Final Value Fees. Do yourself a favor and tell your customers: "Use BeAPal when you buy on eBay."
  • USPS Tracker is a shortcut to the US Postal Service web site with one key difference. It supports your emailing a hot link with a tracking number in it, so your buyer can get status in one step.

The Basic Seller's Widgets are targeted towards the basic daily needs of negotiating and completing sales.

  • Go Postal is a shortcut into the Post Office web site. It will save you a lot of web navigating and time.
  • Sale Details deconstructs sales or payment notices from in the eBay or PayPal and reorganizes the information so you can use it easily.
  • Answer is about answering questions from eBay buyers in a way that adds value. It can hurt both you and your buyer if you answer questions through the eBay messaging system.

Note: The widgets designed for use with United States sellers. For example, the postage calculator for shipping from the United States only. And the links toward eBay are toward the US eBay sites.
